WVU's Tommie McCune Charged with Shoplifting - WVU Football, WVU Basketball, News - Mountaineer Sports

West Virginia University Forward Tommie McCune is facing shoplifting charges. Mlive.com is reporting the incident occurred prior to McCune's arrival in Morgantown.

McCune is charged with third-degree retail fraud and conspiring to commit third-degree retail fraud.

The alleged incident took place on June 21 when McCune along with a former Saginaw High teammate are accused of taking less than $200 in merchandise from a local WalMart.

McCune is schedule to have a pre-trial hearing on Thursday. He is currently overseas with the WVU men's basketball team and is not expected to attend. His attendance is not required at a pre-trial hearing.
