Jess McCadam joined West Virginia Illustrated in December of 2010 to produce The Bob Huggins Show. When basketball season ended, she began writing, taking photos and managing the content on wvillustrated.com. The Huggins Show inspired The Dana Holgorsen Show which in turn inspired the WVU Coaches Show, so now, she produces and edits shows year round.

Jess graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in broadcasting. During her time in Blacksburg, she played Volleyball for the Hokies and hosted Virginia Tech's daily newscast.

After graduating from Virginia Tech, she moved to Atlanta to work for FoxSports as a production assistant. She also hosted various television shows for Falcons' Vision, the Atlanta Falcons Television Network.

She left Atlanta, when her husband, a safety for the Atlanta Falcons, signed with the Carolina Panthers. After moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, Jess took some time off to start a family.

Jess found her way to Morgantown, West Virginia when her husband was hired as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the WVU Football Team.

In her free time, Jess cherishes every moment of hanging out with her husband, Kevin, and their children, Mia(10), Kole (8), Mason (5) and Kam (3).
