Senior libero Serinna Russo earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the first time this season the conference office announced today.

Riverside, Calif., native, Russo recorded 33 digs and 6.60 digs per set
as the Mountaineers defeated Pitt 3-2 for the second year in a row and
only the third time in program history.
As a team, WVU recorded a match and season-high 100 digs in the match.
In only her first year as libero, Russo leads the team with 345 digs and is second on the team with 13 service aces.
The
Mountaineers continue BIG EAST play as they travel to Louisville and
Cincinnati. WVU will take on the Cardinals on Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. before
traveling to Fifth Third Arena to take on the Bearcats Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.
