WVU lost its first Big East game under Head Coach Dana Holgorsen Friday night. The Mountaineers fell to the Syracuse Orange 49-23. It was a domination on each of the three sides of the ball by Syracuse.

Syracuse retains the Ben Schwartzwalder Trophy for a second consecutive year.
