MORGANTOWN -

West Virginia women's soccer player Sara Keane was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week for the second consecutive week, officials announced Monday.

Keane logged all 90 minutes in goal to lead the Mountaineers to a Division title with their 1-0 win over BIG EAST rival Pitt on Friday. She made a career-high eight saves, including three fantastic saves in the second half to preserve the shutout. The Mt. Laurel, N.J., native faced 16 shots and five corner kicks in helping the team record its ninth shutout of the season – fifth in league play. With the victory, Keane pushed her record to 14-4-0 on the season.

The Mountaineers have qualified for the BIG EAST tournament in 12 straight years; only Rutgers has equaled the feat. WVU will face the winner of St. John's/Seton Hall in a BIG EAST quarterfinal match on Sunday, Oct. 30, at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
