ESPN Exercises 6-Day Window for WVU-Cincinnati Game

On Monday, the Big East announced that it would wait another week to determine the game time for WVU's meeting with Cincinnati.

ESPN is exercising its option for a six-day window to announce the time for a game with potential major Big East implications. Either ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC will carry the game.

The network also exercised this option earlier in the season when the Mountaineers took on LSU at home and ultimately it was a night kickoff on ABC that won out.

WVU again controls its own destiny in the conference after Syracuse fell to Louisville on Saturday. The top team in the league right now is Cincinnati, which is the only team left without a Big East loss.

The Mountaineers face Louisville Saturday in Morgantown for a noon kickoff and the Bearcats travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers at 7 p.m.

WVU and Cincinnati will play at Paul Brown Stadium, the home of the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals.
