winning 4671 mark, shot against then-No. 5 Ole Miss on Nov. 12.
TCU ascended to the top ranking after shooting 4696 in a win at
Jacksonville State on Nov. 13, while Kentucky, the No. 1-ranked team for
the last two weeks, shot 4664 in a dual-match victory over Ohio State
and Murray State on Nov. 12 and fell to No. 3.
The CRCA issues new rankings every week this season, and each
poll is based on the team's most recent reported score.
Army (4658) continued its upward climb and jumped from No. 6 to
No. 4 this week. Alaska-Fairbanks (4647) and Jacksonville State (4647)
are tied for the No. 5 ranking.
Ole Miss (4646) fell two spots to No. 7, while Nevada (4640)
held steady at No. 8. Memphis (4633) and UTEP (4633) round at the top 10
and are tied at No. 9.
The Mountaineers have concluded their fall season and will
return to the WVU Rifle Range on Jan. 14, when they play host to No. 13
Akron at 8 a.m.
