Junior College Receiver Commits to WVU

Dana Holgorsen's explosive offensive system has attracted a junior college receiver to West Virginia. Daniel McKinney gave WVU his verbal commitment to attend WVU next year.

McKinney stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 225 pounds. He is currently attending the City College of San Francisco and is the fifth receiver to commit to West Virginia this season.

McKinney is expected to enroll in January, which would make him eligible to participate in spring practice. Dana Holgorsen said he wants to get a few players signed prior to the new year so they count against the 2011 class. Each school is allowed to sign 25 players per class and WVU did not use all of its allotment in 2011.

McKinney is rated as a three star prospect by rivals.com.
