West Virginia University receiver and returner Tavon Austin earned All-American honors Wednesday.
Austin is a first team cbssports.com All-American as an all-purpose special teams player.
Austin returned two kickoffs for touchdowns this season. He racked up
nearly 1,100 overall return yards including 821 yards on 31 kickoff
Tavon Austin is the only player from the Big East named to either the first or second teams.
Two Clemson players were named to the second team. They are Tight End Dwayne Allen and Defensive Lineman Andre Branch.
WVU will meet Clemson in the Orange Bowl on January 4, 2012 in Miami, Florida.
