
The WVU women's basketball team improved to 15-6 overall and 5-3 in the Big East with a 53-32 win over Marquette Saturday night.
Christal Caldwell led the way once again for WVU scoring 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Taylor Palmer added 10 points for the Mountaineers.
West Virginia held a 27-18 lead at the half and stretched that lead in the second half to win big 53-32. WVU only allowed three Marquette baskets in the second half and forced 21 turnovers in the game.
