Kevin Jones is a Sporting News All-American.

Following a regular season in which he led the Big East in both scoring and rebounding, the WVU senior was selected to the publication's third team.

Marquette's Jae Crowder, who is reported to be receiving the conference player of the year award over Jones, made the second team.

Jones averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds per game in his final season as a Mountaineer, while leading the a young team to a 9-9 conference record through one of the nation's toughest schedules.

The first team is made up of Kentucky's Anthony Davis, Michigan State's Draymond Green, Murray State's Isaiah Canaan, Thomas Robinson of Kansas and Ohio State center Jared Sullinger.
