MORGANTOWN -

West Virginia's Kevin Jones continues to receive honors for his play throughout his senior season as a Mountaineer.

The WVU forward has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-America Second Team after a season in which he led the Big East Conference in both points and rebounds.

Jones averaged 20.1 points and 11.1 rebounds per game while producing the nation's third-best double-double total with 21. He ranks fifth on WVU's list of most double-doubles in a season behind Jerry West (30 and 25), Lloyd Sharrar (23) and Rod Thorn (22).

There are no representatives from the Big East on the NABC First Team, but Jones is joined by Syracuse's Kris Joseph on the Second Team as well as Harrison Barnes and Tyler Zeller of North Carolina and Marcus Denmon of Missouri.

Jae Crowder, who won Big East Player of the Year over Jones in a controversial announcement in New York City, was named to the NABC Third Team.
