MORGANTOWN -
The West Virginia University men's and women's basketball
teams have moved into the new practice facility. The final price tag for this
new building is around 24 million dollars.
It features many bells and whistles and, as a result, is one
of the best facilities in the country.
Numerous other colleges and NBA franchises are making trips
to Morgantown for their own look at the facility. They want to get as many
ideas as possible for their own future upgrades.
One of the centerpieces of preparation for the Mountaineers
is the Team Theater. There are 26 black leather seats with the flying WV logo
on them. They also recline and have plenty of leg room in each row for the
players and coaches to be comfortable while watching film on their opponents.
This theater features state-of-the-art technology. There is
a 110-inch flat screen television at the front of the room. Coaches can draw on
the television to diagram plays and more easily show their players what the
opponent will try to do to them.
Video Coordinator Josh Eilert will bring his computer into
the theater and hook it up to a station in the back corner of the room. Once
connected, the computer and television can be controlled through an iPad.

Theater and a tour of the room from Eilert.
