MORGANTOWN -

Fairmont State University has called a news conference for Tuesday at 4 p.m. to introduce its new men's basketball head coach.

Reports indicate it will be West Virginia University assistant coach Jerrod Calhoun. Calhoun arrived at WVU in 2008 and served as Director of Basketball Operations under Bob Huggins until 2011. Huggins promoted Calhoun to assistant coach last season.

Should Calhoun be named Head Coach at Fairmont State, that will leave WVU with a vacancy on its basketball staff.
