According to a report from the Pittsburgh-Tribune Review, head WVU football coach Dana Holgorsen and his staff received their third verbal commitment for the 2013 class this morning when linebacker prospect Hodari Christian (McKeesport, Pa. / McKeesport) committed to the Mountaineers.
Triblive.com reported the story around 10:30am this morning, which quoted Christian as saying, "I was comfortable there...I thought, 'This is the school for me.' Why wait?"
Rivals.com lists the 6'1" 215-pound outside linebacker as a three-star recruit and the No. 3 LB in the state of Pennsylvania. He reported additional BCS offers from the likes of Illinois, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers and Temple.
Assistant head coach Steve Dunlap was the lead recruiter for Christian.
He has visited Morgantown multiple times, including a recent trip on April 15th to take in one of WVU's spring practices.
Christian has a chance to add to the list of former WVU defensive standouts from McKeesport, as linebacker Anthony Leonard and defensive back Mike Logan both attended the Pittsburgh area high school.
