MORGANTOWN -
Kevin Jones is busy traveling around the country and
visiting NBA teams. He hopes to crack the first round of next month's NBA
draft. His college career is over and what a great one it was.
Three new Mountaineers will join the team this summer. Those
three players are Terry Henderson, Eron Harris and Elijah Macon.
Bob Huggins recently talked with WVi about those three
players and what he expects out of them at WVU.
Terry Henderson – Shooting Guard
Raleigh, NC
6'3" 150 Lbs.
"He makes shots," Huggins said. "That's what we want Terry to come in and do
for us, is make shots. He's athletic. His drawback right now is that he is 175
pounds and he probably needs to be 190 pounds. He is athletic, a great kid and
has a great family. He is going to carry on in the Jabarie Hinds, Kevin Jones,
Da'Sean Butler mold of a guy who continues to get better and better and better
and continues to work."
Eron Harris – Shooting Guard
Indianapolis, IN
6'3" 180 Lbs.
"Aaron may be the most prepared guy," Huggins stated. "He
played great competiton, had great coaching and could do a little bit of
everything. If you said, what can he do best I am not sure. He does everything
pretty good. He can play some point and play the two. He is going to guard,
going to rebound, he is long and passes the ball well and understands how to
play."
Elijah Macon – Power Forward
Huntington, WV
6'8" 210 Lbs.
"We're losing some bigs and we need some guys to come in and
learn and be ready to go and Elijah is, according to about everybody, one of
the better bigs in the country. He is a guy who has a tremendous upside, he has
not reached where he is going to be, he has a tremendous upside."
