WVU Picks Up Four-Star Linebacker Howard

West Virginia picked up its fifth commitment for the 2013 class Friday night from Darrien Howard.

The four-star linebacker according to Rivals.com is listed at 6-foot-2, 250 pounds and had more than 10 other offers that he chose WVU over.

Howard is the second linebacker to commit to the Mountaineers in this recruiting class and the first player from the state of Ohio, where he starred for Chaminade-Julienne.

Howard's four-star rating makes him the top prospect to side with West Virginia for the future class.

On Friday night, Howard took to his Twitter account to announce his decision, saying:

"No regrets about my decision I'm going with my heart #mountaineernation."

WVU offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh recruited Howard.
