Eight West Virginia University basketball players are scheduled to compete in the 2012 Pittsburgh Basketball Club Pro-Am Summer League. WVU players frequently participate in this league and this year is no exception.
The eight players scheduled to participate include: Aaron Brown, Aaric Dickerson, Pat Forsythe, Eron Harris, Jabarie Hinds, Matt Humphrey, Keaton Miles and Dominique Rutledge.
Two of those players will be newcomers to the Mountaineers. Matt Humphrey just joined the roster after moving to West Virginia following his graduation from Boston College. Humphrey also played college basketball at Oregon.
Eron Harris is a true freshman who is new to the WVU campus. He is enrolled at WVU and therefore allowed to begin playing in a league like this. The only other Mountaineer player on his team is Aaron Brown.
The league tips off on June 18 and runs through July 18. Look for a full schedule and complete rosters on the league's official website. Fans are encouraged to attend and admission is free.
