WVU, Iowa State Game Moved To Friday

Posted:
DALLAS -

Reporters leave media day events with media guides from every team and numerous other pamphlets and paperwork. Thumbing through the Big 12 media guide and then the West Virginia University media guide led to an interesting discovery.

Both list the West Virginia at Iowa State game as being played on Friday, November 23. It will be West Virginia's first trip to Iowa State. The game will be aired at 3:30 ET on ABC.

Iowa State has won some big games at home in the past including last year's big upset over then No. 2 Oklahoma State. That win by the Cyclones cost the Cowboys a shot at playing for the BCS National Championship.

Several Iowa State players said they are looking forward to that game and that it should be a great atmosphere given that it is their Senior Day and final game of the regular season.

West Virginia will leave Ames, Iowa and conclude the season the following Saturday when Kansas comes to Morgantown.
