'Eer To 'Ear Final Friends Of Coal Bowl

The WVU football team hammered Marshall 69-34. WVU did it with a balanced attack gaining just over 300 yards on the ground and in the air to rack up more than 600 yards of total offense.

The WVU defense entered the opener against Marshall as a bit of an unknown playing in a 3-4 scheme as opposed to the 3-3-5 odd stack, which Jeff Casteel took to the University of Arizona.

The defense did manage to force two turnovers and nearly scored touchdowns on both of them. Terence Garvin forced a fumble that was scooped up by Isaiah Bruce and taken back for a touchdown. Doug Rigg made a great pick on a pass that bounced off the receiver.

WVi's Scott Grayson and Geoff Coyle have a lot to say about the highs and lows related to that game. Watch and hear what they discussed by clicking the video above.
