Have you ever made the claim, " I am the biggest West Virginia fan ever!" ??? Well then,  this just might be contest for you.

On October 6th, the day the Mountaineers play on the road at Big 12 powerhouse Texas, the West Virginia Trademark Licensing department will be looking for the ultimate WVU fan as part of Mountaineer Nation Day.

So, if you consider yourself the most diehard Mountaineer fan on the planet, head over to Facebook  and register. You will be asked to compose up to a 150-word essay, submit up to five photos and up to a one-minute video showing why you bleed old gold and blue.

"Fans have until Sept. 19th to register before 8 finalists are chosen on Sept. 21st," Nikki Goodenow, WVU Trademark Licensing Director, said. "From that point, WVU fans across the world can vote for who they think is the Ultimate Mountaineer Fan. "

The winner will win two Hail WV or Game Day passes, plus two suite tickets in the alumni box and a parking pass for the Kansas game, courtesy of the WVU Alumni Association. Included with the tickets is a WVU prize pack consisting of a Commemorative WVU Orange Bowl helmet and football, plus the 2012 Official WVU Fan Shirt and other great officially licensed WVU products.
