In the first BCS Rankings of the season, West Virginia comes in at No. 13 after getting blown
out by Texas Tech, 14-49, in a game where nothing went right for the
Mountaineers.
West Virginia's next opponent, Kansas State, is the highest ranked Big 12 team in the BCS Standings coming in at No. 4.
Other notable Big 12 Conference opponents having a spot in the BCS Standings include Oklahoma at No. 9, Texas Tech at No. 17, TCU at No. 23, Iowa State at No. 24 and Texas at No. 25.
