Jenkins Out, Copeland Expected To Start Against Kansas State

West Virginia University Head Coach Dana Holgorsen met with the media for his weekly news conference on Tuesday. Holgorsen referenced two personnel changes for Saturday's game against No. 3 Kansas State.

Cornerback Brodrick Jenkins is out for the game due to injury. He suffered a cartilage tear in his knee against Texas Tech. Holgorsen said Jenkins will return to the lineup eventually this season, but not this weekend.

Jenkins has 26 tackles this season including one tackle for a loss.

Holgorsen also indicated there will be a change at Receiver. Freshman Travares Copeland will get his first career start. Holgorsen indicated he does not yet know who Copeland will replace in the starting lineup. Holgorsen also said if Copeland does not have a good week of practice then he will not start.

Copeland played in his first game last weekend at Texas Tech. He caught one pass for five yards.
