MORGANTOWN -

Mike Carey and the West Virginia women's basketball team will face a different opponent in Tuesday's exhibition than originally scheduled.

The Haunted Hoops event, which will tip-off Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m., will feature Alderson-Broaddus at the WVU Coliseum rather than Concord.

The change was made due to travel concerns with the presence of Hurricane Sandy in the region, preventing Concord from making the trip to Morgantown.

The event is free and open to the public, with fans encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.

WVU opens its regular season with UNC-Wilmington on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Coliseum.
