Stillwater, OK -

Freshman Wide Receiver Travares Copeland had his best game as a Mountaineer, then suddenly left the program for personal reasons.

Junior Wide Receiver Ivan McCartney started for WVU last week against TCU, then surprisingly did not make the trip to Stillwater to play Oklahoma State.

Holgorsen was asked after the game if McCartney was injured. His answer was one word, "No."

Holgorsen was then asked if McCartney was still on the team. To that he replied, "I don't know."

Holgorsen became irritated with the line of questioning and followed that up with, "Why do you care? I am worried about the guys who are here and want to play. There are a lot more things to worry about than one person."

Without McCartney, Ryan Nehlen saw more playing time and caught a touchdown. Connor Arlia and KJ Myers also got into the game.

Ivan McCartney is still listed on West Virginia's roster. Holgorsen will have his next chance to discuss McCartney's status with the media on Monday's Big 12 Coaches' Teleconference.
