The West Virginia University football team has added a
junior college player to its 2013 recruiting class.
Rivals.com is reporting that Running Back Dreamius Smith has
given WVU his verbal commitment.
Smith is a 5-foot-11, 220 pound running back currently
playing at Butler County Community College in Kansas.
Smith has carried the ball 120 times for 984 yards and 17
touchdowns through 11 games. He has helped his team go 11-0 so far this season.
BCC won the region VI championship and is set to play Iowa Western in the Graphic
Edge Bowl on December 2.
Head Coach Dana Holgorsen said earlier this week that he
wants to add five to six running backs to help with depth at that position.
Smith is the fifth running back to commit in the 2013 signing class.
Dreamius Smith is on pace to finish his junior college
classes in December and plans to enroll at WVU in January. That will make him
eligible to participate in spring practice with the Mountaineers.
