MORGANTOWN -

West Virginia University Sophomore Guard Juwan Staten has not logged any playing time since the first half of the game at Texas last Wednesday. Staten remained in his warmups on the bench for the second half of that game. He did the same throughout the game against Kansas State last weekend.

"He is going to get on the same page with me or he is not going to play anymore," WVU Head Coach Bob Huggins said following the Kansas State game.

Huggins took part in the Big 12 coaches' teleconference with the media on Monday and said Staten will travel to Iowa State. He left unanswered the question regarding whether or not Staten will play in the game.

"Everybody has to be on the same page," Huggins said Monday. "If everybody is not on the same page you don't have a very good team. We all make mistakes. He is going to travel. We have two days of practice before we play Iowa State. We'll see what happens and go from there."

Staten has started all 14 games prior to the Kansas State game last weekend. He leads the team in assists and is averaging 10.5 points per game.

WVU visits Iowa State Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 9 p.m.
