Kevin Jones Assigned to D-League

The Cleveland Cavaliers assigned Kevin Jones to the D-League on Monday.

The former Mountaineer basketball star was called up to the Cavs from the Canton Charge back in December but had limited action in his 15 games.

Jones averaged 1.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in nine minutes per contest.

When he had been with the Charge earlier in the season, he was one of the league's most productive players with 23.6 points and 12.6 boards in five games.

Former WVU teammate Alex Ruoff is also on Canton's roster, having played 22 games for the D-League squad.
