The West Virginia University baseball team has begun its preseason practices prior to the season opener.

This will be an interesting season. There are many changes for the players to deal with. That includes a new coach in Randy Mazey, a new conference in the Big 12 and a bizarre schedule that will include many "home" games in Charleston and Beckley.
