Schmitt and Kilicli Hold Jam Session at Saloon

MORGANTOWN -

This is why Schmitt's Saloon and the Davisson Brothers Music Hall exists.

On Sunday afternoon, former West Virginia fullback Owen Schmitt opened the doors to his Saloon and welcomed various bands to take the stage for a day of music and whatever else accompanies March 17th in Morgantown.

Among the acts to take the stage was the Davisson Brothers, the band that Schmitt has been playing for these past five years and half of the place's namesake.

So Schmitt joined the band on the stage and so did another familiar name in Mountaineer sports, Deniz Kilicli.

The two played for much of the set, but in the above video, they are each featured in "Little Wing" with a guitar solo.

Schmitt takes over at around the 2:10 mark, while Kilicli gets going at 5:10.
