West Virginia will lose three players from this past season as the university announced Monday that Jabarie Hinds, Aaron Brown and Volodymyr Gerun would each transfer from the program. 

Brown made his decision public earlier in the day, the three transfers will now count back toward WVU's allotment of scholarships available for the coming season. The Mountaineers lost three seniors and will welcome four freshmen, now with two extra scholarships remaining to be filled. 

Huggins has been on the road recruiting every since the conclusion of his team's 13-19 season, looking not only for incoming freshmen, but also junior college transfers to come in an contribute as he looks to get WVU back on track after the first season in which he has finished below .500 since his days at Akron. 

Hinds, a sophomore, finished his second season at WVU with 7.4 points per game, the sixth best on the team. Gerun appeared in just seven games for West Virginia in his career.
