Rally Falls Short, WVU Loses to Pitt 7-6

The Mountaineers baseball team played in front of a Hawley Field record crowd of 2,535 on Tuesday evening, but failed to bring the home crowd a victory.

Pittsburgh went ahead 6-0 after a grand slam in the top of the fourth inning and despite a strong three-run rally in the bottom of the eighth, West Virginia was unable to catch up with the Panthers and ultimately fell 7-6.

Take a look at full video interviews with Coach Randy Mazey, second baseman Billy Flemming and right fielder Brady Wilson, who was also celebrating senior night in front of the home crowd.
