Receivers McCrary, Parker Commit to WVU for 2014



The Mountaineer football staff continued their success on the recruiting trail Tuesday when they collected commitments from two standout receivers in the Sunshine State.
Jacob McCrary (Miami, Fla. / Coral Reef) and Lamar Parker (Miami, Fla. / Booker T. Washington), both rising seniors, pledged their services to WVU this evening.
McCrary, a 6'0" 185-pound athlete, boasts an impressive offer list including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska and Notre Dame, among many others.  He narrowed his list to a final group of Clemson, FSU and WVU before ultimately selecting the Mountaineers this evening.
Parker, meanwhile, is a 5'8" 170-pound slot receiving speedster who turned down Cincinnati, Florida State, Texas A&M and Washington State in order to accept a WVU offer.
WVU running backs coach JaJuan Seider is the lead man for both south Florida recruits.
Both Parker and McCrary are listed as three-star prospects on  They join Ricky Rogers (Monroeville, Pa. / Gateway), William Crest (Baltimore, Md. / Dunbar) and Amanii Brown (Morgantown, W.Va. / Morgantown) in the 2014 recruiting class.
