West Virginia sophomore guard Eron Harris is making a major transition from standout freshman to reliable veteran. There are plenty of newcomers who will be looking up to any of the more experienced Mountaineers this season and Harris seems to enjoy the idea of being viewed as a leader in his second year.
One of his major tasks this summer is to get everyone on the same page in open gym sessions at the team's practice facility, but that job extends to the Greentree Sportsplex, where he is in a position of seniority for WVU's representatives in the Pittsburgh Pro Am Summer League.
Among those looking to Harris for guidance is Devin Williams, a player the staff hopes will be a real threat on the inside to go along with an ability to knock down a mid-range jumper. The two are teamed up on the same squad in this summer league, and they came away with a one-point victory Monday night in their debut together.
See what both players had to say about the experience and what they have ahead of them as they prepare for the season that lies ahead in the video interviews below.
