WATCH: WVU Gold-Blue Game Replay

Dana Holgorsen and the West Virginia University football team wrapped up their spring practices with the annual Gold-Blue Game in front of an estimated 10,000 fans at Milan Puskar Stadium.

WVU debuted the 2014 edition of the Mountaineers squad in a scrimmage that ended with the Gold team beating the Blue by a final of 37-27.

Senior receiver Mario Alford had one of the most exciting plays of the day on the very first play when he took the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.

Kevin White, Daikiel Shorts and Elijah Wellman added touchdown receptions as Paul Millard led the quarterbacks with 129 yards passing and two scores.

Take a look back at the action from the Gold-Blue Game in its entirety, including interviews with the head coach and some former WVU football standouts. The next time you'll see this team, it will be in Atlanta as the Mountaineers kick off the season with Alabama.
