Wrapping up a five-game road trip, the No. 25 ranked West Virginia University baseball team will play their last game on the road before heading home against Virginia Tech on Tuesday, April 25, at 5:30 p.m ET, at English Park, in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Formerly Big East opponents, the two teams have faced each other 87 times with Virginia Tech holding the advantage with a 53-33-1 all-time record in the series. However, the Mountaineers have won the last two of three games as well as seven of the last 11 games.

Despite a strong season so far, the Mountaineers (23-15, 9-6 Big 12) are coming off a a series of three games at Kansas State only winning one.  They started the series with a 9-7 victory on Friday, which followed with a 8-4 loss on Saturday and an 11-4 loss in the finale on Sunday. This was the team’s first conference series loss this season.

Virginia Tech (20-22, 8-13 ACC) aren’t playing as strong, coming off a 1-3 week, with a mid-week loss at East Tennessee State. Following that one loss, the Hokies went home to face Georgia Tech in a weekend-series matchup, winning only one out of the three games.

The game will be streamed on the ACC Digital Network and the Watch ESPN app. Fans can listen to the game on the Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG on various affiliates throughout the state, online at WVUsports.com, on the Mountaineer Gameday App and the TuneInRadio App. Dan Zangrilli will call the action.
