Time change announced for game vs. Marshall

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - WVU baseball's final non-conference contest of the regular season will now be played at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The Mountaineers were scheduled to host Marshall at 6:30 p.m. at Monongalia County Ballpark, but as the program announced Monday on social media, inclement weather forced a change in that start time:

WVU (26-23, 8-13) defeated the Thundering Herd 11-10 in 13 innings at Power Park in April. The Mountaineers haven't lost a regular season game to Marshall since April 2015.

WVU said Monday that fans who can't attend this rescheduled game will be able to exchange tickets to attend the Mountaineers' final series of the season against Baylor.
