Three Mountaineers invited to NFL Combine

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - A trio of Mountaineers has been invited to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine.

Running back Justin Crawford, wide receiver Ka’Raun White and safety Kyzir White each received invitations to the Combine, which runs from Feb. 27-March 5 in Indianapolis.

Crawford is the first Mountaineer back to post consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons since Noel Devine did it in 2008-09. In 2017, Crawford ran for a team-best 1,061 yards on 190 carries with seven touchdowns before opting to sit out West Virginia's bowl loss to Utah.

Ka'Raun White finished second on the team in receiving in 2017 with 61 catches for 1,004 yards and 12 touchdowns. His three-year WVU totals include 124 catches for 1,862 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Kyzir White was a two-year starting safety who produced 94 tackles, 7 ½ tackles for losses, a sack and three interceptions during his senior season in 2017. He made 146 tackles, 13 ½ tackles for losses, four sacks, eight pass breakups and three interceptions during his two-year career.

Head coach Dana Holgorsen has had at least two players invited to the combine each year since 2011.
