Coaches Caravan begins in Wheeling, four more stops upcoming

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The annual Coaches Caravan, hosted by the Mountaineer Athletic Club, begins tonight in Wheeling. The annual tour will make four other stops this month around the state:

Again this year, the Mountaineer Athletic Club will host two WVU Classic events, each presented by Lumos Networks. The Fifth Annual WVU Classic at Pete Dye Golf Club will be held May 20-21. The tournament begins on Sunday with a Pairings Party at The Wonder Bar Steakhouse in Clarksburg followed by the golf tournament on Monday at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport.

The 36th Annual WVU Classic at Berry Hills will conclude the 2018 MAC spring calendar of events on June 7-8.  The two-day event begins on Thursday with the WVU Classic Coaches Caravan and Pairings Party and concludes on Friday with the golf and tennis tournaments at Berry Hills Country Club.

WVU coaches, administrators and current and former student-athletes will be represented at each event.
