After playing the first four games of 2018 on the road, the WVU women’s soccer team returns to Morgantown for the home opener. The Mountaineers host Xavier on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. They will host No. 11 Georgetown on Sunday at 3 p.m.
West Virginia (0-1-3) is hoping a change in venue will provide the spark it needs to find the back of the net. WVU’s last two matches have ended in a scoreless draw in double overtime.
Head Coach Nikki Izzo-Brown and senior forward Hannah Abraham preview WVU’s next two opponents and discuss the resiliency of their team as they search for the first win of 2018.
