The Mountaineers traveled to Kansas City, MO in hopes of becoming the Big 12 Champions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Big 12 Tournament, other conference tournaments and the NCAA Tournament was cancelled. On this week’s edition of The Bob Huggins Show hosts, Nick Farrell, Anjelica Trinone and Tony Caridi have you covered on what happened in Kansas City prior to the decision of cancelling the tournament.

Anjelica and Nick welcome you into the program this week after the decision was made to cancel both the men’s and women’s Big 12 Tournament. All Power Five schools cancelled their tournaments this week. Nick and Anjelica also discuss the phenomenal regular season home finale upset over then No. 4 Baylor Bears. They also discuss the three seniors Jermaine Haley, Chase Harler and Logan Routt, and their impact on the team this season. Dale Wolfley also gives his weekly Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration Big Action of the Week:

Tony Caridi sits down with WVU Athletic Director Shane Lyons to discuss the decision made by the Big 12 to cancel the Big 12 Tournament, along with spring sports and NCAA championships. Lyons describes the situation as “fluid” as everyone gathers the right answers:

WVU ended their final game of the regular season with a 12 point win over the Baylor Bears. It was a big day for the Mountaineers that started with Senior Day ceremony and ended with an engagement, then ended with the students storming the court. Anjelica sits down with ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla for the third time this season to talk about that regular season finale win for the Mountaineers. WVU capped their season off with a win over the Baylor Bears. It was an emotional senior day for the three seniors Jermaine Haley, Chase Harler and Logan Routt.
