The Mountaineers are back in action away to take on the Kansas State Wildcats. Hosts of the Bob Huggins Show Nick Farrell, Anjelica Trinone, Tony Caridi and Warren Baker have all things WVU hoops covered leading up to tipoff at 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday Jan. 18th.

In the first of two Coaches Corner, Tony and Coach Huggins look back on the two wins at home against Texas Tech and TCU. Coach Huggins discusses getting a win in Lawrence will equal the win total to last year’s total win record of 15, in the middle of January. Huggins gives his critics on both offense and defense side of the ball. WVU’s defense has become recognized as one of the best defensive teams in the country. Coach Huggins and Tony join one last time for this episode to discuss going to Lawerence, KS to face Kansas State. Kansas State has gotten off to a rough start, but a win against West Virginia could be the start of a turn around season. Kansas State is one of the leading teams in forcing turnovers. Coach Huggins touches on the improved productivity in Miles “Deuce” McBride and Brandon Knapper. Huggins also discusses Chase Harler as the guy who is making plays lately, and how he wants to be a leader for the Mountaineers.
