Head Football Coach Neal Brown in Morgantown

Neal Brown arrived on campus late Sunday afternoon

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - On a sun splashed Sunday afternoon, a Learjet inbound from Alabama to Morgantown delivered the newest member of Mountaineer Nation, Neal Brown. 

Along with Director of Athletics, Shane Lyons, the Mountaineers' new head football coach was greeted by a small crowd of fans and media at the Morgantown Municipal Airport just after 4 p.m. ET Sunday.

Brown was officially announced as the 35th head coach of the program on Saturday.

Coach Brown exchange pleasantries with the WVU fans waiting for the entourage to touchdown on Sunday, singling the next chapter in West Virginia football. The Morgantown itinerary for Coach Brown is brief.

A few hours after his arrival, Brown met with his new players for his first team meeting, and received a special visit from former head coach and Hall-of-Famer, Don Nehlen.

The Morgantown itinerary for Coach Brown is brief as he begins his coaching duties.  He will be handling administrative matters through Monday before departing for the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Convention in San Antonio, Texas.
