Martin Suspended Indefinitely

Less than 24 hours before the WVU women’s basketball team is scheduled to depart for its overseas trip, the program announced senior guard Tynice Martin has been suspended indefinitely due to a violation of team rules.

Martin averaged 17.4 points per game last season. She played in 17 contests after recovering from a foot injury.

She played in all 35 games during her sophomore campaign, averaging 18.6 points per game.

Martin amassed 1309 total points through three seasons with the Mountaineers.
