The honors are still rolling in for WVU wrestler Noah Adams, who was named to the 2020 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-America First Team.

Adams had an historic redshirt sophomore season in the Old Gold and Blue, winning a Big 12 Championship (the second in program in history) and becoming the first WVU wrestler to earn Big 12 Wrestler of the Year. His undefeated 32-0 record is just the third in program history, behind Greg Jones’s 2004 and 2005 seasons.

“Being an All-American is a huge honor and Noah certainly earned this award,” WVU wrestling coach Tim Flynn said. “He continued to improve all season long and stood out in the biggest matches of the year.”
