The Bob Huggins Show

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - This week on the Bob Huggins show, Tony Caridi and associate head coach Larry Harrison discuss a 1-1 week for the Mountaineers and the upcoming matchup on Saturday against Texas.

Last Saturday, WVU earned its second Big 12 win of the season with a 79-71 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners. Coach Harrison explained that rebounding was a key to victory.

"Especially on the offensive end. We have been stressing that in practice all year and the guys showed up to play," said Harrison. "Derek Culver came out to play, and he has been a one-man double-double all year."

But the previous week also included a blowout loss to Texas Tech. Coach Harrison explained where he thought the team's mindset was before the game.

"We had a great shoot around the day before. We really believed the guys looked focused and ready to play," said Harrison. "However, we couldn't make shots, and it eventually turned into a really rough night."

Now the Mountaineers prepare for Texas. Coach Harrison talked about the red hot Longhorns and how WVU really needs a win.

“Texas is going to come in Saturday with a lot of confidence, and it's going to be a tough game. We're at home, and this is a very winnable game for us, we have to make shots," Harrison said.

Head coach Bob Huggins was unavailable this week due to his travel and recruiting schedule, but this week's epsiode of The Bob Huggins Show is still packed with WVU basketball content, including:
