WVU baseball’s game with top-seed Texas Tech will now begin at 6:30 ET at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The game was originally scheduled to begin at 5 ET, but was moved to a later time after a lengthy early session on the second day of the Big 12 Championship.

Five-seed Kansas needed 11 innings to defeat eight-seed Kansas State, 15-14. While the Wildcats were the first team eliminated from the tournament, the Jayhawks survive to face the loser of WVU vs. Texas Tech.

Six-seed TCU also survived a loser’s bracket contest by defeating Oklahoma 15-3 in seven innings.

If the Mountaineers beat the Red Raiders, they’ll advance to the semifinals and earn a day off tomorrow.
