This week on the WVU Coaches Show: Looking back on the historic run of Noah Adams

This weekend on the WVU Coaches Show, we’re talking WVU wrestling and women’s hoops. Nick Farrell and Anjelica Trinone will catch up with wrestling coach Tim Flynn, discuss the recent WNBA draft of Tynice Martin as well as Coach Carey’s reaction.

Nick and Anjelica will discuss Tynice Martin and the news last week of being selected 34th in the WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks, as well as Coach Carey’s reaction to the news.

Coal City, West Virginia native Noah Adams was on track to compete for a national title before the season came to an end due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Adams was named Big 12 Wrestler of the Year and NWCA first team All-American after finishing his season 32-0. In this week’s Life as a Mountaineer presented by WVU Athletics, we take a look at his journey that made him the wrestler he is today.

Nick will also chat with WVU wrestling head coach Tim Flynn to discuss Adams’s historic season. Coach Flynn also talks about the “what ifs” for Adams and what he needs to work on in the offseason. Flynn also discusses which other wrestlers that impressed him throughout the season and who can contribute next season.
