After making his final start for WVU baseball Saturday in the Morgantown Regional, another memorable night is likely on the way this evening for Alek Manoah.

The Big 12 Pitcher of the Year and first-team All-American could go as high as No. 10, according to mock drafts from major outlets.

MLB.com projects Manoah as the No. 10 overall pick by the Giants, while CBS Sports and Bleacher Report have pegged him as the No. 11 and No. 12 picks in their respective mock drafts.

The Pirates are also reportedly interested in Manoah, but he could be long gone before Pittsburgh picks at No. 18 overall.

The 2019 MLB Draft begins tonight at 7 p.m.

Manoah led the Big 12 in earned run average and strikeouts during the regular season. He finished the 2019 campaign with  2.08 ERA, and became just the fourth Mountaineer in program history to achieve first-team All-America status.
