According to WVU baseball, all-session tickets for the Morgantown Regional are sold out.
The only single-game tickets that will be available are tickets that are returned by the participating teams. Information regarding single-game ticket availability will be announced when it becomes available on WVUsports.com.
Tickets for full-time WVU students will be available on game day at the Monongalia County Ballpark ticket windows. Tickets will be free for WVU students with a valid student ID only to games that WVU plays in. Students from other participating schools presenting a valid student ID from their institution can purchase a $10 general admission/standing room only ticket at the Monongalia County Ballpark ticket windows on game day.
Demand is high as Mountaineer fans are looking forward to watching West Virginia baseball host their first NCAA Regional in 64 seasons.
So much so, in fact, that general public ticket sales are being pushed back until Wednesday morning.
Due to the extremely high amount of requests for priority tickets, the general public sale of all-session tickets will not open until Wednesday at 9 a.m.
The first round of the NCAA Tournament begins Friday, with Duke facing Texas A&M at 4 p.m. at the Monongalia County Ballpark. The Mountaineers are slated to face off after that game’s conclusion at 8 p.m. against Fordham.
